Kamanali means story, legend or myth in Náhuatl, the language of the Aztecs.
When I was little, I used to look out the window and see the mighty volcanoes that surrounded Mexico city. They hypnotized me and I loved them; but what I loved the most was the legend behind them. My culture is part of what defines me as a person and I don't get tired of studying it and learning more from it because of it's strong diversity. This short film I'm working on is a tribute to my country, my culture and my people.
I'm working with a great team of really talented and amazing people. I've had a lot of help and a whole bunch of people behind me who love me and support me and I'm confident that this short film is going to be a success and a way of making people get to know more about the beauty of my culture and my country. In this website you're going to be able to know more about the short film, characters and in what stage of production are we amongst with other different things. I hope you enjoy this project and stay put for the updates I'm going to be sharing here.

Kamanali significa historia, leyenda o mito en Náhuatl, el idioma de los Aztecas.
Cuando era pequeña, me asomaba por la ventana y veía los imponentes volcanes que rodeaban a la ciudad de México; me hipnotizaban y me encantaban. Pero lo que mas me gustaba era la leyenda detrás de ellos. Mi cultura es parte de lo que me define como persona y no me canso de estudiarla y aprender mas de ella por lo rica que es en diversidad. Este cortometraje en el que estoy trabajando es un tributo a mi país, mi cultura y a mi gente.
Estoy trabajando con un equipo maravilloso, gente muy talentosa e increíble. He tenido muchísima ayuda y gran cantidad de personas detrás de mi que me quieren, apoyan y estoy mas que confiada que este cortometraje va a ser un éxito y una forma de dar a conocer mas sobre la belleza de mi cultura y de mi país. En esta página van a poder conocer mas sobre el cortometraje, personajes, en qué etapa de la producción estamos, entre otras cosas.
